パキスタンの核兵器開発に至る動機は、一般的に、インドの74年の核実験であるとされている模様であるが、それよりも早いとする資料がある。以下資料↓参照。

結論：米国の対中抑止は無効。

人民解放軍海軍(PLAN)、ブラジルで航空母艦導入のための訓練実施へ？

によると、中国人民解放軍海軍は、ブラジル海軍空母で訓練を実施する。
上記資料によると、原子力潜水艦の技術援助も伴う？以下、上記資料より引用。

"An article that appeared in a Chinese naval university’s website, “Why did China Choose Brazil to Train it Carrier Pilots?” referenced an unspecified source as saying that the Chinese will provide technical support to Brazil for constructing its nuclear submarines (Haijun.xaut.edu.cn, June 1). Western and Chinese analysts believe that at a minimum this agreement will allow the Chinese access to Brazilian naval aviation expertise in addition to the carrier itself. In any event, training of PLAN officers on NAe Sao Paulo would accelerate the development of Chinese capacity in naval aviation, which has been a major weakness in China’s efforts to operationalize an aircraft carrier."

中国、ラダックで領土拡張を企図か

Rajesh Kalra, "The Chinese think big, we don't," Times of India, 19 May, 2009 (4 Jul 2009)によると、人民解放軍はインドとの国境付近のラダックに位置するChangthang地域のPangong Tso(Lake)で、半潜水艇を使用しているらしい。以下、上記資料より引用。

"I asked the villagers to compare our boats with the Chinese. The honest assessment was that though our boats are fast, their boats are smaller and faster. But that is not what has caught their imagination. Almost all of them claimed that the Chinese boats emerge out of water suddenly, at high speed, and dive back in too. This means the Chinese are using submersible boats."

なお、JFSには、イランの半潜水艇Kajamiが掲載されているが、98年12月の事案で使用された（「SP-10H/Cluster Osprey」の改良型)と事実上同一?と思われる。その根拠は、大儀なので後で。
しかぁし、なぜか北朝鮮の欄には、DPRKの潜搬入用船舶は、ほとんど掲載されていない。経海潜入器材などは、当然Jane's Underwater Warfare Systemsでも掲載されることは少ない。某超著名洋書店でも、その種資料は僅少であるとのこと。

英国装甲車Saladinの砲塔を、中国の装甲人員輸送車(APC)531式(旧K-63?)に搭載したものと思われる。

前面板の角度が異なることで、若干の識別困難要因があった。あー恥ずかしい。

LTTEは、遊撃戦から正規軍相当の戦力増強を考慮しており、相当の兵器改良能力を備えていたことにより、識別要点を瞬時には看破できなかった。531式APC車体部の砲塔リング･バスケット収納部の整形は、比較的洗練されている。ありきたりな結論ではあるが、本装軌車両はPLA531式APC車体に、Saladin砲塔を装着したものである。スリランカ軍の装備から考慮すると明らかであろう。

車体部の識別要点。特徴ある転輪、およびその数、加えて履帯、スプロケット形状等により結論。恥ずかしながら瞬時に識別できなかったのは大反省。イスラエル軍並みの創意工夫能力には敬服。前面板の加工を含め、車櫃部の改造は洗練されている。（とは言え、現在は知らぬが、かつてのイスラエル軍のMBT整備能力一流とは程遠かったとのこと。鋳造砲塔の修理が出来なかったとの記事を記憶している。ソース失念。『PANZER』か？
